New client and launcher
The new native Windows launcher automatically updates the client and validates its files before launch. The rebuilt game client brings better performance and input handling, a refreshed interface and new modules, with a new login flow integrated with SSO.

Get the new launcher from Downloads. The installer is recommended; a portable version is also available. Sign in through the new account system to access your characters.
Account migration
The new SSO service gives you one identity across the game portal, forum and wiki. If you only have a legacy game account, create a new SSO account first using Login at the top of the page. If you already have an SSO account, sign in to that account.

Return to the game portal and check that your avatar and display name appear in the top-right corner. Open Game Account, then Account Migration, to link your old account and transfer your existing characters. New players can create a character from Game Account instead.
Start the migration and enter your old game account credentials. Follow the verification steps shown on screen, including identity confirmation if requested. Once migration succeeds, check your characters in Game Account, then use your SSO account to log in through the new client. For help with migration, contact us on Discord.

Gameplay changelog
Progression
- Reworked the experience curve above level 300, with progressively higher experience requirements at high levels.
- Existing characters keep their total earned experience, but their levels and level-based stats are recalculated for the new curve; a character at exactly the old level-400 threshold becomes level 384.
- Increased experience gains at levels 321-400 by 25%.
- Improved experience gains above level 400, with gradual reductions across higher-level brackets.
- Experience-stage gains stop at level 500.
- Raised the configured level requirement for final transformations from 400 to 420; these transformations are locked until GT Sagas arrive in update 0.9.8.
- Characters whose recalculated level no longer meets their current transformation requirement return to an eligible form when logging in.
Combat and Vocation Balance
- Reworked ranged basic-attack damage: weapon Attack now has diminishing returns, while Ki Blasting receives additional scaling above skill 90; damage also scales differently with character level.
- Increased ranged damage scaling for Ki classes, including Gohan, Dende, Cooler, Bebi, and Videl/C18, alongside the new ranged combat formula.
- Increased Dende's Ki gain per level by approximately 25% across all forms.
- Rebalanced Dende's transformation HP bonuses, increasing the cumulative bonus at levels 60, 130, and 200; the cumulative bonus is also slightly higher at the level-320 form.
- Buffed Saisei to redirect 30% of incoming damage into Ki instead of 15%, while sufficient Ki remains.
- Changed critical-hit calculation so the critical multiplier applies to damage remaining after the initial defense and armor checks, rather than increasing the attack before those checks.
- Critical hit changed from 110% damage to 120% damage.
- Fixed ranged attacks to use the actual weapon's rolled Attack, extra Attack, and Attack gems.
- Fixed the fallback accuracy of ranged weapons without an explicit hit-chance setting; they no longer acquire unintended misses from the old fallback calculation.
- Equipment can now provide Critical Damage and percentage Defense bonuses directly.
- Fixed percentage HP and Ki bonuses from equipment and gems, including incorrect reductions and double-counted flat bonuses.
- Fixed equipment bonuses failing to reverse accurately when items are removed or swapped.
- Fixed percentage skill conditions compounding on previously applied temporary skill bonuses.
- Corrected the character attack display to distinguish base attack from effective attack and account for the equipped weapon type, vocation, buffs, Kaioken, and fight mode.
Monster Aggression and Loot Ownership
- Reworked monster aggression around recent combat contribution: older threat gradually fades, and proximity influences which opponent a monster attacks.
- Fight modes now influence threat separately from their damage penalty or bonus, making defensive fighting more competitive for holding monster attention and earning loot ownership.
- Damage dealt by your summons counts toward your contribution when determining loot ownership.
- Blocked damage and excess damage beyond a monster's remaining health no longer inflate threat contribution.
- Moving away or using ordinary teleportation no longer immediately erases accumulated threat; death and logout remove it.
- Taunts temporarily hold a monster's attention without granting extra loot credit.
- Monster corpses are awarded to the highest eligible threat contributor who is alive and nearby when the monster dies; the owner's Luck and applicable drop boosts determine normal loot bonuses.
- Corpse access is shared with eligible nearby party members present at the kill; joining the party afterward does not grant access to that corpse.
- Corpse claims expire, and dying or logging out invalidates your existing claim; corpses become public when no valid claimant remains.
- Killing a rival near a contested monster can transfer part of that rival's threat to the killer; kills within the same party or guild do not qualify.
- Reworked item rewards from mazes, dream maps, and scripted event monsters to use the new contribution-based loot rules, with rewards shared among eligible contributors in the loot owner's party.
